About

I’m a sixteen year-old at heart who fell in love with books at the age of six.
It was one afternoon, in the middle of a pool of hand-me-down dolls from my older cousins when I found two Sweet Valley Kids books. Out of curiosity, I sat on the couch and started reading, and reading, and reading.
That was how my love for books started. The summer that followed, my parents bought me a lot of books for children, which consisted mostly of Sweet Valley, Baby Sitters’ Club, Bobbsey Twins, and Nancy Drew novels.
As I grew up, my book preferences changed. I went to Nicholas Sparks, Sidney Sheldon, Dan Brown, JK Rowling to help me tweak my imagination a bit.
My preferences came in waves. I’d read a lot of adventure books, then mysteries, then romances, then Christian, then Classics.
But as college kept me busy, and I just wanted to sleep during my free time, I read a considerably lesser number of books in the past few years than I did in High School.
I am going to graduate from college soon, and after that, I am hoping that I would get into Law School.
But I have a need to read, and I am aiming to read at least 50 good books this year. (Chick Lits Not Included)
That will be my personal challenge.
Wish me some luck.
